The original Flying Colors study is quite different from this rendition. I tried every combination of horse and rider and this is the one that stuck. This painting will be framed and shown at Center for Visual Arts for June(if it's dry). I need a better photo but you get the idea. Thanks!
Oh boy - this looks like another BIG one. I can feel the motion in the horse's flying hair (fur? coat?) - can you tell I am not a horse person?
