"HOW DO I GET TO CARNEGIE HALL..............PRACTICE"


 Well -  I figure I better practice and get some new samples if I'm going to paint pets for a fund raiser. It's been a while since I've done any animals and it's pretty intimidating - I gotta get through it.
Also - I'm signing my paintings on the front - I guess that is what's expected of a painter - I hope it's not too distracting.  Thanks for following.

    So, I painted a picture of our little dog, Louie. I started like you said you start your animal paintings - with the eyes. I like the portrait of him, but I have to admit it doesn't look anything like him. Ha! As I look at this beautiful painting I am wondering if you started again with the eyes? The most interesting piece of this one, for me, is the teeth and tongue. Wow - I think you nailed them.
