I needed some apple pictures so one of my students sent me photos of her apple trees and pear tree. This is new for me to paint from photos that I did not take. I've had these images since the fall - I wasn't sure how to interpret the vision of someone else but I'm over it now and may paint the rest of the images she sent to me. It was kind of fun to just let it go and paint.

I would find it extremely difficult to paint someone else's photos - although I just did one myself (a photo/notecard given to me). I love the bright green in the leaves. I have difficulty mixing those bright colors.
